Programming Note:

There will be a brief break in in-person ECI Classes from September-December of 2026. If you have a group of 10 or more individuals that would like to go through an in-person course, we can schedule a private class. To do so please reach out to [email protected].   • What can I expect during the course?

    Whether you choose to attend in-person or virtually, the information presented will cover Columbus' neighborhoods, facts about the city, the power of tourism, and more.

  • Who should take the course?

    The Experience Columbus Insider (ECI) accreditation course is designed for individuals and organizations that have a direct interest in promoting Columbus, tourism, hospitality, and/or community engagement. Typical participants include Hospitality and Tourism Professionals, Customer-facing Employees, Event Planners and Organizers, Community Ambassadors, Businesses Seeking to Engage Tourists, and Columbus Enthusiasts.Is

  • Is $20 an annual fee?

    $20 covers the cost for the first two years of membership. While still in school, you may choose to renew on an annual basis at $20/year. However, once you graduate, you must move to the re-accreditation option at $30/year.

  • How long do I have to complete the course?

    You have 3 months to sign up for an in person course or 30 days to complete the online course. If the course is not completed in that allotted time, you will be asked to sign up for the course again and forfeit the initial registration fee.
