This interactive program will take you on a tour of Columbus, and it's our goal to provide a deeper appreciation of Columbus’ assets and value as a tourism destination.
In the Experience Columbus Insider group, you'll find information about benefits, upcoming events, and resources you need to make everyone's visit to Columbus exceptional!
The class will be divided up into learning units that will include classic lectures, videos, and interactive exercises. In-person courses may vary by topic and activity, but all courses will include a presentation of the same information covered during the online course. Information includes Columbus' neighborhoods, facts about the city, the power of tourism, and more. An overview of the ECI program and benefits of the accreditation will also be covered.
The Experience Columbus Insider (ECI) accreditation course is designed for individuals and organizations that have a direct interest in promoting Columbus, tourism, hospitality, and/or community engagement. Typical participants include Hospitality and Tourism Professionals, Customer-facing Employees, Event Planners and Organizers, Community Ambassadors, Businesses Seeking to Engage Tourists, and Columbus Enthusiasts.
$44 covers the cost for the first two years of benefits and class materials and activities. Every 2-years after will be $30.
Those who sign up to complete the in person course must do so by signing up for a class within 3 months. After 3 months, we reserve the right to cancel your membership and you will forfeit your registration fee. If you need an extension, please do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected]
We will provide a folder of information and pen. Please feel free to bring a personal water bottle to reduce the number of plastic water bottles we go through in the class.
